Monolouge - globe theatre guide

good morning ladies and gent and welcome to the famous GLOBE THEATRE. The theatre is most renounded for it's shape and hosting plays from the famous william shakespeare. Now beleive it or not this magnificent building we are standing  in front of has been built 3 times over in the same spot. Itw as first built in 1599,then was destroyed in a fire  in 1613. Rebuilt in the same month but was later closed in 1642 by the purtians. The english parliment issued an ordinance on the closure  of all stage plays as the strict religious views at the time forbidded them. Thankfully a mordern building was reconstructed in 1997 which is roughly 230 meters away from the orginial site. The globe was owned by it's actors and share holders. they perform shakespeare as well as mordern plays, this year they are performing this ( point to poster) standing tickets are only £5 and you can walk in and out with drinks.
Amphitheatres are the name for the Elizabethan theatres that folllowed the style of architectecture of a coliseum.
Theatre closed  due to bull and bear fighting industries suffering from the ever growing popular theatre industries.
Motto for the  theatre " Totus Mandus agit histrorean" which translates to the whole world is a playhouse
flags indicated theme of play. Black was tragerdy
                                             White was comedy
                                            red was history
